Custom bleach trays can be ready in a day or two. We'll provide a special bleaching agent for you to use with the trays for a few hours daily. This agent removes stains without altering tooth structure or existing dental work. Maintain your new smile with occasional treatments, and we'll take "after" photos at your next appointment.
Whitening corrects discoloration caused by staining, aging, or chemical damage. In severe cases, crowns or veneers may be necessary, but whitening is often a worthwhile first step due to its low cost.
How is teeth whitening done?
An impression is taken to make a specialized tray to hold the bleach against the teeth. The material is used each day for a week or two, and at the end of this time, significant whitening will usually occur. In some cases, the change is nothing short of brilliant. For very severely stained teeth, crowns or dental veneers may be more appropriate.
